I am capable of whatever I set my mind to. Nothing is out of my reach.
Set high standards, create ambitious goals, and let your expectations for your life be grand!
Many times in my past I have let go of or not chased certain desires for fear of failing. I would feel like some of those dreams were so far-fetched that there would be no point in even trying. Why would I put all the work in just to be embarrassed by my failure? Or I would need X, Y, and Z to even begin down a certain path, and I don't have time for that! But as I've experienced MANY times over the last few years, I've found that I am capable of starting ANYTHING.
The only time we are limited is when we put limits on ourselves. If there is someone out there doing what you want (or even if there's no one doing it yet!) why can't you?! The only way to achieve it is to start! It may seem easier said than done (and maybe it is) but in an age of constant communication and oversharing- is your fear really failing or the perception of failure from others?
Everyone has to start somewhere. We may not see results today or tomorrow or even in a year. But keep persistent, make those small or big moves; and watch yourself build your dream life.
Meditation
Find a comfortable position where you can find a moment of quiet concentration.
Breathe in...
Breathe out...
What is something you've always dreamed of accomplishing? This can be something small, or something big. It can be professional or personal.
Breathe in...
Breathe out...
What is your biggest obstacle for chasing this dream? Can you clearly see it? Is it time? Is it financial?...Is it fear?
Breathe in...
Breathe out...
Envision yourself taking the first step toward that dream. Let it be small. Check ONE thing off of that list! How does that make you feel?
Breathe in...
Breathe out...
Can you see that dream getting closer?
Breathe in...
Breathe out...
As you come back to your space, remind yourself: "I am capable of whatever I set my mind to." Good things take time and hard work. "Nothing is out of my reach."
